Frequently Asked Questions
DO you guys accept insurance?
We are a fee for service practice. We Currently do not accept any kind of insurance. However some clients have had success in getting reimbursed from their insurance companies. Other clients have used their FSA cards for sessions.
How do I know what therapist is right for me?
The therapist and client fit are so important to your healing journey. We suggest stating with reading all the therapists bios and seeing whose profile really resonates with you. Then calling in and speaking with our Office Manager Natalie and she can make sure the therapists, fee, schedule and availability will work with you.
How long will I be in therapy ?
This tends to vary per client. However, the best course for progress in therapy is dependent on the quality of the therapist-client relationship. So if you can invest early on in your therapy to have weekly appointments for about 10-12 weeks you are putting your best foot forward toward healing. When you can trust that your therapist knows you and cares for you, it is easier to challenge yourself to make necessary changes in order to grow. If the therapist-client relationship is developed and of good quality you can probably accomplish a lot of work within 6 months. Some clients with a history of trauma or mental illness, therapy work can last upto 2 years.
What if I don’t fit well with my therapist?
We have a wonderful group of therapists and we are happy to re-assign you. Our therapists are professionals and understand that therapists are not meant to be the best fit for every client they come into contact with.
